Saya walked into her room at the hotel. She took out the white dress she would be wearing and felt the beginnings of tears in her eyes. Where was he? Why did Haji come and save her? She knew it was her wedding, and she should be happy, but even though she loved Solomon(they had been able to revive him somehow), it wasn't the same as Haji. Haji had always been there for her. But what's done is done.

Saya donned the white dress and walked out of the room. She quickly brushed away the tear. As the wedding march started, she walked down the aisle. Then the door opened and she waited for Solomon to appear. But instead she saw the familiar face of somebody from long ago.

"Haji!" Solomon smiled a little sadly, but Haji and Saya were happily married.

"Come on!!" Saya urged haji. "He grudgingly pulled on his parachute and got ready.

"Why are we doing this again?"

"We've got to keep doing new things. Today'll be gone soon, and it'll be another day wasted if we don't do something. We don't live forever, you know."

"Yes, but..."

"But nothing. Well, actually, we do live forever, but that's just us. We're jumping and that's that."

"As you wish." Saya grabbed haji's hand, and jumped out of the plane.

"HERE WE GO!!" She screamed.

"You know, I can do this by myself."

"I know."

"Then why won't you leave me be?"

"I don't know."

"Yes you do."

"I'm just worried for you."

"Fine then. I won't jump until you're down there in case the cord breaks."

"Alright." Haji was down at the bottom in seconds. Saya checked to make sure the harness attaching her to the bungee cord was in place. Then she jumped.

Snap!

The cord broke. Saya was freefalling.

"AHHHH!!!!" She didn't need to worry. Haji was right there, waiting to catch her. She flung her arms around his neck, then kissed him full on the lips.

"Thanks for being there."

"Always." Haji smiled slightly.

"Why? Why do you have to go?" Saya sobbed. She was sitting in Haji's lap, and was crying into his jacket.

"I have to Saya. Do you want to live at headquarters forever?"

"No, but..." Haji put a finger to her mouth.

"No buts. I'll be fine."

"But there are dangers out there!"

"Saya, I am part Chiropteran. I can do this."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I swear to you, Saya, I will come back in perfect condition."

"Promise?"

"Yes." He gently picked her up and placed her on the bed in the room they shared at HQ. He pecked her lightly on the cheek, then waved goodbye. Saya started singing her sister, Diva's, song, and didn't stop until Haji came to take her to their new home.

Saya looked at the carnage and destruction that war caused and thought back to a happier time.

She and Haji were taking a stroll through a snow-covered forest in the middle of December. Saya couldn't remember where they were, but she remembered that there was no war then. No hate, nothing. Or at least, not that they were involved in. There was just them, the forest, and the cabin.

It was a much much happier time. Nowadays all you saw was blood and death. There wasn't much time for happiness. What had happened to mankind?
